CALENDAR

  • Quick overview of the appointments entered in a job? We have added a handy calendar for this purpose! Want to know more? Be sure to check out  our brand new FAQ .

CAVA-SIGN

  • From now on, when you agree to a repair document in Cava-Sign, you will have the option to indicate VAT deductibility or the certificate number for disabled persons. This ensures that the correct information is immediately included on your document. Click here for more information about this feature.

INSPECTION DATE

  • A new field has been added where you can enter an appointment for the inspection. You can find this field in the “Repair Information” section of the job.
Once you check the box “Inspection required”, you will get the option to select a type. We work with a fixed list from which you can choose the following options: Periodic inspection, Pre-sale inspection, Post-accident inspection, Re-inspection. After selecting the inspection type, you can enter a date.


This field will be used in our brand-new calendar feature!

EXPERT APPOINTMENT

  • In the “Damage” tab, you will now find a field where you can enter the appointment with your expert. A field is provided to enter the appointments for expert 1, expert 2, and expert 3.

TO-DO LIST

  • An adjustment has been made so that from now on, a reminder assigned to you can only be deleted by the person who created the reminder.

SEARCH FILTER JOB LIST

  • Did you know that Cavalato has a quick search filter? Read more about it  here !

BASF & PPG

  • An additional check has been implemented to prevent duplicate lines when importing paint from a BASF or PPG scale. Still noticed an issue? Contact us at  support@carscan.be 

COMMUNICATION

  • An adjustment has been made to the communication screen. Starting with this release, you can find all communications under the global 'Communication' tab.
  • From now on, on the orders and invoices screen, you will have the option to reply to and/or forward an email.

RELATION

  • The merging of duplicates has been made easier so you can quickly clean up a duplicate entry. Be sure to read the  following article  to stay fully informed about the latest process!
  • Starting with this release, the search field for looking up a VAT number when creating a relation is now located under Legal personality.

ORDERS

  • Do you order your parts from a job? From this release onwards, you will get an overview showing which parts are listed on which estimation.  In this article , we show you the full functionality.

RENTAL PLANNING

  • On the blocks in the rental planning, it is now possible, starting with this release, to display  additional information  (permanently) on the blocks. You can add the following to the blocks: renter’s name, damaged vehicle license plate, job number, and start–end date. Contact us at  support@carscan.be  to set up the necessary configuration.
  • From now on, we display the make and model of the replacement vehicle (if this information has been entered in the background) in the rental schedule. Want to make a change to a replacement vehicle? Then check out:

INVOICING

  • In the Billing tab, starting from this release, you’ll find an arrow icon that lets you clear the selected filters (just like in the file list). Click the icon below to reset the filters:
  • Have you created a pro forma invoice but still need to remove a specific invoice line? In some cases, this is possible. If the invoice has not yet been "printed," you can still click on the desired invoice line and have the option to delete it.


REPORTING

  • Looking to quickly get an overview of your employees’ attendance over a specific period? Be sure to check out  our new article  on the Presences Report.
  • In the "Uninvoiced Jobs" report, you can now click through to the underlying job by clicking on the job number.
