How can I send an automatic reminder to my customer?
To set up an automatic reminder, you can contact our helpdesk via support@carscan.be.
You can have an automatic reminder set up to be sent via SMS or email. For both, a communication template will need to be created. Feel free to create a communication template via "System" - "Communication" that you want to use as an automatic reminder for your customer.

An automatic reminder can be set for the appointment date of the estimation and/or the repair appointment date. If you enter a date and time in either field (and press save), a communication will automatically be triggered.

In the communication pop-up, the pre-set communication template will be displayed automatically. As a user, you can still make adjustments if needed.
If you have activated the configuration via our helpdesk but have not set up a communication template, you will still receive a pop-up when entering the appointment date for the estimation or repair to send a communication. However, no automatic template will be selected. You can manually select a template or enter text manually.

The reminder will be sent to your customer one day in advance. By default, we send the reminder at 7:30 AM (the day before). If the previous day is a public holiday, we will send the reminder at 10:00 AM. Of course, as a user, you can modify the date and time of the reminder if desired.

If the date in the job is changed, you will once again have the option to send a reminder.
