Planning an estimation, how do I do it?

You've just created your first estimation. Time to schedule it! To do this, go to the "Repair’ tab" - "Estimation".

To schedule the estimation, we must first mark it as a planning estimate.

Your estimation marked as planning estimation? Then a flag with ‘P’ will appear next to the marked estimation. The status of the tasks on the estimate will automatically be changed to ‘To plan'.

Time to make the actual planning! To do this, go to the ‘Planning’ tab and choose ‘Planning’ again here.

By default, a date will be proposed based on the appointment date entered in the job. Do you prefer to plan in the future? Certainly possible! You can change the date field to your preferred date.

Did you overwrite the default date? Then press the ‘Recalculate’ button. Cavalato will automatically suggest a new planning for you.

Made the necessary adjustments? Then press the ‘Plan’ button to confirm the planning.

Now you can go to the ‘Planning’ tab. You will see that the job has now been added to the planning.

After scheduling the tasks, the status of the tasks on the estimation will also change to ‘Planned’.
