How does the ‘Estimaton created’ checkbox in the job timeline work?
The checkbox ‘Estimation created’ can be automatically ticked in the job in various ways. In this FAQ we look at the various possibilities.
We will start with the date ‘Estimation created’.
As soon as a date has been entered under ‘Estimation created’, the ‘ Estimation created’ box in the timeline will be checked automatically. If you check the box in the timeline manually, the date field will also be filled in automatically.
On the "Repair" tab - "Estimation" you can find an additional dropdown menu ‘Estimation type’
In this dropdown menu, you can choose from some fixed values: ‘Basic estimation’, ‘Preliminary estimation’ and ‘Final estimation’. You can indicate a different value for each estimation.
Did you choose ‘Preliminary’ or ‘Final’ estimation in the dropdown menu for 1 of the estimations linked in the job? Then automatically tick the ‘Estimation created’ box.
