How does the damage tab work?
The damage tab, an additional tab housed under "Job" so you have the option here to note additional information related to the damage.
In this article, we go over the different fields you can find under the damage tab.
A picture of a car? By clicking on the car, you can indicate the impact of the damage.
Fields were also added, on the damage tab, so that you can enter the type of tyre (summer, winter, all season). You can also fill in the profile and pressure of the tyres.
If you enter a value below 1.6 mm at the tread, a red line will appear at the tyre where you entered this value.
Several fields were added to fill in additional information about the damage and repair.
The damage description is a mandatory field. This information will be forwarded to Car-pass (for Belgium only). If this information is not filled in, you will not be able to forward the file to Car-pass.
Furthermore, in the "Damage" tab, you also have the option to indicate whether the vehicle can still be driven, whether it is a total loss and which liability applies. A comment field was also added. The comment you entered here can be displayed along with your documents.
