How can I create a job in Cavalato?
In this article, we will show you how to create a job (without importing an assignment/estimation from an external system) in Cavalato.

How can I create a job in Cavalato?
To create a new job, you can press the "Create job" button in Cavalato under the "Jobs" - "List" tab.
Enter the license plate of the vehicle here.
Press the search button to look up the previous jobs for this license plate.
An overview will be displayed of the jobs this license plate is associated with. We show in the overview the make, model, job type and creation date of the job.
If you want to create a new job, enter the location of the job. This field is mandatory for the creation of a job.
Select a status for the job. By default, the value will be set to "New".
Select the desired job type. By default, this value will be set to "Damage repair".
All fields completed? Then press the "Create job" button.
The new job will open automatically.
If desired, you can also make a copy of an already created job. Press the icon below to make a copy.
