How can I create a rental from a job?
To start a rental, go to the ‘Planning’ - ‘Rental’ tab in the job. Here you will find the scheduled rental.
Press the green flag to start the rental.
The last known mileage and fuel level will be filled in automatically. You can still change these details if necessary. Enter a reason and, if applicable, the damages on the car. If damages were already entered in the past, these will also be displayed automatically.
Completed everything? Then press the ‘Save’ button.
Forgotten something? You can still change the rental by pressing the key icon.
Pressing the icon below will automatically open the rental planning screen.
How can I start a rental from rental planning?
In Cavalato, we have provided that you can also start the rental from the rental planning. To do this, go to the ‘Rental’ tab - ‘Rental planning’.
Find the desired scheduled rental. A scheduled rental will always be displayed in blue.
If you hover over the block, you will see additional information about the scheduled rental. Here you will see the date, time, file number, number plate and driver.
Make a right-click on the rental. You will see the options below. Press ‘Start rental’ to start the rental.
The last known mileage and fuel level (and known damages if applicable) are automatically included. You can still change these data if necessary.
Press ‘Save’ to save your changes.
After starting a rental, the colour of the rental in the rental planning will change to yellow. This allows you to quickly see visually which rentals have been started and which reservations have been made.
