GENERAL
Additional functionality was added to the side menu. From this release, it is possible to collapse the menu so that the main screens are displayed larger. You can collapse the side menu by pressing the icon below.

An additional configuration was added that allows you to set the default job type. By default, the job type is set to 'Damage Repair'. Would you like a different default job type from the list?
Additional functionality has been added that allows you to display appointment estimation or repair appointments in the app. You can easily switch views by using the slider.
ESTIMATION
From this release, it is possible to give your estimation your own customised name.
If you are working with default job administrators for a location, and you modify the location in a particular job, you will receive the following message:

In the past, it was always mandatory to enter time and an hourly rate when importing a standard job. As of this release, this is no longer mandatory. You can import the standard job estimation without filling in these data, allowing you to complete the estimation manually.
PARTIES
On the parties tab, the customer's e-mail address and phone number were added on the labels. How you can quickly send a communication to your contact? We'll show you how in the guide below.
From now on, you will be able to indicate default job administrator per location. How to set this up can be found in the following FAQ: 👔How can I link a default job administrator?
A change was made to the job screen. What exactly was changed, we show you in the guide below.
Is the desired vehicle class not displayed in the dropdown menu? Or no vehicle classes have been created yet? Then be sure to check out our FAQ on how to create a 🛵vehicle class.
Have you made a reservation for a replacement car in the job? Then we will also show this on the job screen from now on.

The job timeline got an update. As soon as a task is started in the time registration, of a particular job, we automatically tick the ‘Repair started’ box in the job timeline.

From this release onwards, a QR code will be visible on the jobscreen. This code was also added on the repair order document. You will be able to scan the QR code with Cava-Photo in the future. This functionality is planned for the next release.
DOCUMENTS
From this release, it is possible to give your credit notes a different colour than your invoices. This allows you to visually quickly see whether it is an invoice or a credit note. To activate the feature, you can send an e-mail to support@carscan.be with the desired colour.
PLANNING
An additional filter was added on the planning so you can filter here by the block number that was entered in the job.

Additional filters were added on the invoicing screen. You can now filter by third party name or third party number.

An additional feature has been added that allows you to add payments (manually) on an invoice. You can read all about it in the 💰following article.
EMPLOYEES
An adjustment was made to absences. Did you schedule a holiday for a particular employee, but the holiday was cancelled? Then you can delete the holiday from this release.
