Who will receive communication after booking an online appointment?
As soon as an online appointment is booked, a confirmation email will automatically be sent. But who will receive this confirmation? There are two possible scenarios. Below, we explain the different possibilities.
You have sent an email to the customer/driver/other party... from the case file, including a link to book an online appointment.Suppose you sent this email to a party with the contact email address support@carscan.be. After the appointment is booked, a confirmation will be sent to support@carscan.be.
Now suppose your contact forwards the email with the booking link to someone else. The confirmation will still be sent to support@carscan.be because that is the originally linked email address.
If you, as a Cavalato user, book an appointment yourself via the online booking system, Cavalato will then check which party is linked in the communication template.
You can verify this yourself in Cavalato by going to "System" – "Communication" – "Online Appointment Link". At the bottom, you will find the default party to whom the communication will be sent.
In the example below, the communication will always be sent to the ‘driver’.ie dus steeds naar de 'bestuurder' verzonden worden.
