How can I return a part?


To return an item, go to the "Order list" tab in Cavalato.

Go to the "Delivered parts" tab here.

Here you will find an overview of all parts that were delivered. We offer the option to filter by 'Supplier', 'Order number', 'Job number' and 'Order date'.

At the end of the part line, you will find three different options: 'Faulty', 'Damaged' or 'Not required'. Would you like to return a part? Double-click on the '0' next to damaged/faulty or not required.

After double-clicking, you can enter the number of items you want to return. Don't forget to save your changes by clicking on the 'save' icon.

The item will now be moved to the ‘Returns’ tab.

On this page, you will find an overview of all parts that have been marked as damaged/faulty or unnecessary. You can now tick the desired parts to combine them into a return shipment.

You can also specify a reimbursement type for each part. Here, you can choose between 'Returned part' or 'Credit note'.

The selected items will be bundled at the bottom of the page in a return shipment.

You can optionally fill in additional information with the return shipment. We provide fields for the 'RMA number', 'Return request date', 'Return approval date' and 'Return shipment date'. You can fill in these fields optionally and add to them at a later date if certain information is missing at the time of the return.

Press “Confirm return” to save the return shipment.
