Notification system

In cavalato, a notification system has been provided so that you will be notified of various actions in the software. In this FAQ, we show you when you will receive a notification and how to follow it up.

Which actions do we send a notification in Cavalato?

There are 3 possible situations where you will receive a notification in Cavalato. When someone created a reminder for you, you will receive a personal notification of this. Did you send a communication via SMS and did your customer reply to the SMS? Then we will also send you a communication.

The 3th notification you will receive when a task is stopped in the time recording and a reason is indicated. So you immediately know which tasks were stopped for which reason.

Below, we go through the various options step-by-step in more detail.

The notification for a text message

As soon as you receive a reply to a text message, we send a notification to the job administrator and the assessor of the job. So it is important to fill this in correctly when creating the job.

In the screenshot below, you can find an example of how the notification will look exactly. There will always be a phone number and file number. You can press this notification to go directly to the job.

No time to process the notification? Then you can close the pop-up by pressing the cross.

Did you close the notification? Or missed the notification? Not to worry! You can always find the notification under the "Notifications" tab.

You can press the notification to go directly to the job.

Read the text message/sent a reply? Then mark the notification as ‘Done’ in the "Notifications" tab. This way, you will always see the most recent notifications at the top of the list.

The notification for a new reminder

We will send a notification when a colleague has created a reminder for you. This notification will be sent to your personal user. As with a received SMS, you will receive a pop-up notification at the bottom right of the screen. Here we include the name of the colleague who created the reminder and the due date.

Clicking on this notification will take you directly to the "To do list" tab.

We also add an additional notification under the "Notifications" tab. You can click on this line to open the reminder in the "To do list" tab.

Again, don't forget to mark the notification as ‘Done’ as soon as you have read/processed the reminder.

Notification when a task is stopped

If a task is stopped in the time registration, the assessors and job administrators of the job will be notified.

The pop-up below will appear on the screen. Here, we show the name of the employee (who stopped the task) and the job number.

Do you press the pop-up notification? Then you will automatically be taken to the job. By default, we show the "Follow-up" tab here so that you can review the employee's completed comment (if any).

Missed the pop-up notification? No worries! We also show this notification in the notifications so you can follow up.
