JOB
- In the timeline of the job, a new sub-status has been added under 'Post-processing'. From now on, you will also find 'Check payment' there.
- Additional functionality has been added, allowing an automatic reminder to be sent for the quotation appointment and/or repair appointment. Want to know more? We tell you all about it in this document .
TIME REGISTRATION
- Allowing a mileage entry directly from the time registration tab? You can find more information about this functionality in this article .
- A new configuration makes it possible to hide working hours on the time registration tab and in Cava-Tech. Would you like to activate this option? Contact us at support@carscan.be .
DOCUMENTS
- Additional functionality has been added to the invoice and estimation document. A new configuration ensures that the task description can be automatically included in these documents. To activate this option, you can contact our helpdesk at support@carscan.be .
- From this release onwards, it is possible to set all documents to black and white. This option can be requested via our helpdesk at support@carscan.be . This configuration affects all documents. It is not possible to display some documents in color and others in black and white.
- The text on the repair agreement and expertise agreement document can be adjusted from this release onwards. Send us an updated text via support@carscan.be , and we will take care of it for you!
- An additional configuration has been created that allows hiding the time/date of photos taken with Cava-Photo or Cava-Tech. Contact our helpdesk via support@carscan.be to activate this option.
COMMUNICATION
- From this release, you can create a reminder for yourself and/or a colleague directly from the communication screen. We explain the details in this article .
- A modification has been made to Cavalato so that, in the future, both photos and PDF attachments will be included in emails.
POST-CALCULATION
- A modification has been made to the post-calculation report. Would you like to get an immediate overview of the negative lines? An additional filter was added to filter on the negative amounts in the post calculation. You can find more information about this functionality in this FAQ .
- On the post-calculation screen, you will now also have the option to apply a factor to the hours (= worked hours) in the post-calculation estimate. When you click on 'Create post-calculation', Cavalato will take into account the selected rate and the chosen factor (which can be entered at the top right of the screen). By default, the factor is set to 1.If you lower the factor, the hours will be reduced. If you adjust the factor to, for example, 2, the hours will be doubled.
INVOICING
- A modification has been made to the overview screen of credit notes. From this release onwards, you will see the same filters as on the billing screen. Additional columns have also been added to provide the same overview as for invoices.
- The filters of the invoice list have also been revised so that the search will now be saved.
- Are you entering a payment on an invoice for which a credit note has been issued? From now on, Cavalato will take the credit note into account (amount including VAT).
- From this release, it is possible to set a standard expiration period for invoices. This configuration can be defined per location. Contact us at support@carscan.be to activate this option.
REPORTS
- A new report has been added to Cavalato, allowing you to view the repair phase of a vehicle for each case. We explain how the 'Repair Phase' report works in this article .
RENTAL
- From this release, it will no longer be possible to enter the same mileage at the start and end of a replacement vehicle rental. The start and stop mileage must always be different.
- Are you making a (manual) reservation for a rental car in a job? From now on, you will have the possibility to filter rental cars by vehicle class and transmission.
CAVA-TECH
- The icon for taking a photo in Cava-Tech has been moved. This improves the display and readability of Cava-Tech on smaller screens.
CAVA-PHOTO
- An adjustment was made in Cava-Photo to fix the issue of distorted photos (with some devices). Due to this adjustment, it is currently not possible to draw on photos. This bug will be fixed as soon as possible.
