Which configurations do I need to set to use the online appointment system?
To use the online appointment system, you first need to configure the opening hours for estimates. You can configure the opening hours for estimates by navigating to the "System" tab and selecting "Locations" in Cavalato.
You can set the opening hours for estimates per location. Select the desired location here.
Go to 'Opening Hours'.
At the top, you will see the global opening hours of the location. These are, for example, used for the automatic scheduling of a replacement vehicle (in the planning).
At the bottom, you will find the opening hours for estimates. These need to be configured before you can use the 'online appointment' link.
Enter the desired 'Times for Estimate Preparation' and click 'Save'.
By default, the appointment duration is set to 15 minutes. This means a time slot will be available every 15 minutes. Prefer to use a different interval? Contact us at support@carscan.be and we will make the necessary adjustments for you!
Cavalato will not only take the time slots into account but also the number of available estimators. It is therefore important to go to the "Employees" tab and tick the 'Estimator' checkbox for the appropriate staff members.
For example, if you have 2 users with the checkbox ticked, Cavalato will allow 2 appointments to be booked per time slot. We will also take into account collective holidays and the individual holidays that have been entered for the users marked as estimators.
