The Margin Analysis Report
Was the repair fully completed and invoiced? Then it’s time to check how much profit you made from this repair. To make this process quick and easy, we’ve added the "Margin Analysis Report" in Cavalato. This allows you to easily view the margin per job or for a specific period. Below, we’ll show you where to find the report and how it works.
The Margin Analysis Report
You can find the Margin Analysis Report in Cavalato under the "Reports" tab.
Select "Margin Analysis"
On the Margin Analysis page, you’ll see various filters to refine your report.
For the date filter, you can specify which date you want to filter by. In the dropdown menu, you can choose between 'Vehicle In', 'Invoice', or 'Job Creation'.
Below the date filter, you can specify a specific period.
The invoice filter allows you to choose between:
- Invoices with a number
- Proforma invoices
- All invoices
If you work with multiple locations in one Cavalato environment, you can filter by a specific location. If you leave the filter on 'Select a location', the report will include data from all locations.
On the right side of the filters, you can refine the report by filtering by a specific party, such as: owner, insurer, referred by, leasing company, renter, repairer, expert
We have provided a button to 'Export' the report. Would you like to review the data beforehand? Then click the 'Preview' button.
The report will generate an overview of all cases based on the selected filters.
Click the 'Export' button to export the report as a CSV file.
