How can I create a new user?


To create a new user, you can go to the “Employees” tab in Cavalato.




Go to “List” here.


This page will give you an overview of the employees that have already been created.

Press the 'New' button to add a new employee.

Select the location to which the new employee belongs.

Enter the first name and last name is of the user.

At the bottom, you will be able to indicate where the employee should appear. You can choose from: job admin, Planning, time registration and estimator. It is possible to indicate multiple check marks.



Have you marked the file admin and/or specifier checkbox? Then you will be able to select the name of the employee in the job in the fields below.


Completed all the necessary information? Then press the 'Save and open' button.

Please complete the fields below.

On the right side of the screen you have the option to check which tasks this employee can/may perform. It is important that you properly check these tasks if the employee should use time registration. You can also indicate with an additional check mark whether the employee should be proposed in the planning to perform a certain task. Furthermore, you can also indicate the efficiency per task.

Under the 'Time Schedule' tab you can add a work schedule for this employee. If this employee needs to clock in on tasks, it is mandatory to add a time schedule.



Click on the desired schedule.

Press the box below to apply the schedule for the entire year.


Under absences, you can enter the employee's scheduled vacations. We will cover step-by-step how to enter these vacations in the next article.

Completed all the details? Then be sure not to forget to save your changes by pressing the 'Save' button.

Completed all the necessary information? Then press the 'invite' button.


Select a role for this employee. The default values in the drop-down menu are: Worker, Job administrator and User. Based on these roles, permissions are automatically assigned to the employee's profile.

Press 'Create an account and send an invitation'. The employee will receive an email to set a password.
